Extra Life 2018!
I am back to my regular schedule and so back to updating this blog! I have so much I want to say from my time in New England, but for now I have a more time-sensitive item to bring to your attention: I am raising money for charity via the Extra Life gaming marathon! (If you know the drill or are just here to donate, the link is at the bottom of this post.)
The drill: Extra Life is a 24 hour gaming marathon that takes place every November and raises money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are a nonprofit that raises funds to help cover the cost of children’s medical care, as well as medical research and community awareness programs. This is a big deal to me, and I’m glad I am able to help.
As I have done for the past several years, I will be playing board games from the morning of November 3rd to the morning of November 4th and live-tweeting my exploits over at @the_real_tyler. All money I raise this year goes to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco.
If you are able to donate, that’s wonderful, and I appreciate it! If you are not able to, please do not feel guilty; money is difficult stuff and you should always put your own oxygen mask on first. For those who are interested, my donation page is here.
Thanks, and see you in November!
